New Gear: Mavic 2 Pro 4K Drone

I’ve just added the Mavic 2 Pro 4K drone to my gear package.

The Mavic 2 Pro folds down to be super compact, great for travel so I can include it in my kit and have the ability to capture aerial footage wherever I’m shooting.

Often, I just need to capture a few establishing aerial shots for a project – this is where the Mavic 2 Pro is ideal as it’s very quick to set up so I can get the shots I need.

Included in my Mavic 2 Pro kit:

• Mavic 2 Pro drone
• Remote controller
• Polar Pro filter kit including ND and polarising filters
• Mains charging hub & car charger
• 3x batteries (~30 mins flight time per battery)
• 3x SanDisk Extreme 128GB microSD cards
• 2x sets spare propellers

Tech specs:

• Hasselblad camera with 1″ CMOS sensor
• 4K recording
• 10-bit Dlog-M capture for flexibility in grading footage in post
• Manual aperture f2.8-f11
• Hyperlapse & HDR
• 3-axis stabilised gimbal
• 10km 1080P video transmission
• Omnidirectional obstacle avoidance sensors

I’m looking forward to getting the Mavic 2 Pro on a few projects and sharing some of the footage soon.
